Expected Impact: The affected services will experience a brief disruption during this maintenance, with an expected impact time of 30 minutes.
Details: We will be performing an emergency maintenance on a portion of our core network. During this time, customers may be unable to access the client area to submit support tickets or order new services and may experience brief disruptions to outbound SMTP traffic and connections to loaned IP-KVMs.
During the maintenance period, customers requiring assistance are advised to send an email directly to [email protected] from your registered email address. This maintenance will not directly affect network connectivity for any of your servers, only access to our client portal.

Client Area Access, Outbound SMTP Traffic, and IP-KVM Connections
Expected Impact: Multiple BGP reconvergence and/or service outages of up to 2 hours
Details: Please be advised that Dacentec network engineering team will be replacing core routers in Lenoir to provide increased performance and reliability, and greatly decreased BGP reconvergence times. During this time customers may experience multiple BGP reconverges of up to 30 minutes each. Directly-connected customers will see their interfaces go down as they are migrated to the new equipment.
Dacentec will be performing network hardware upgrades. This is to improve network resiliency and to provide upgraded performance. Customers may see some downtime and switching hits as the devices are upgraded during this time.
